A rather rare story: this game was developed back in 1990 by Juan Carlos Sánchez.
In 1990, he and his co-developers MAD & Matamoros presented a ZX-Spectrum game called 'Bloody Paws' to a company called GLL Software.
They liked the game very much and asked for an MSX conversion to sell commercially.
Six months passed and the developers returned to make other games.
GLL Software didn't live up to their promises and as a result, the two parties broke their companionship.
Several months later, GLL Software released the ZX-Spectrum version, without permission of the developers.
Meantime, the MSX conversion was steadily gathering dust.
2005: Juan Carlos Sánchez makes an agreement with Matra, concerning this MSX1 game and decides to release it.
What follows is an exciting beat'em-up game, released on tape for the earliest generation of MSX computers!
Some notes on tape usage:
Be sure to properly connect your data recorder onto your MSX computer.
Note that your MSX computer needs to have a tape connector, which is absent on several MSXes, like the Panasonic FS-A1GT, the FS-A1ST and the FS-A1WSX.
Once you have connected your hardware properly, put the tape into the data recorder, with the text 'Side 0' facing up.
Adjust the volume of your data recorder properly, to about 50% to 75% of the maximum volume.
Boot your MSX while holding [CTRL] and [SHIFT] key down to free up more memory.
Once you've arrived in MSX-BASIC, type the following: RUN "CAS:" and press [RETURN]. Press the [PLAY] button of your cassette recorder and off you go!
When the above doesn't work, try to experiment with the volume slider. Always ensure to rewind the tape before usage.
